Privacy Policy for Task Turbo for HubSpot

Effective date: 2026-06-10 · Published by Vincent van der Plas (Netherlands)

Summary

We collect almost nothing. The extension adds keyboard shortcuts to HubSpot’s web app and stores your shortcut configuration locally in your own Chrome browser. No analytics, no tracking, no usage logs. The only personal data that ever leaves your browser is the email address you type in to unlock Pro, which our license server uses to check whether you have an active subscription.

What the extension stores on your device

What leaves your browser, and when

Nothing, with one exception. If you type your email into the “Already upgraded?” field (or have done so before), the extension sends that email address to our license verification service, a Cloudflare Worker at ksh-pro-verify.vajvanderplas-267.workers.dev. The worker asks Stripe whether that email has an active subscription and answers yes or no. While you have HubSpot open, this check repeats roughly once per minute so your Pro status stays current (including after a refund or cancellation).

That request contains only the email address. No browsing data, no HubSpot content, no page data, no identifiers of any other kind are ever transmitted.

The worker does not keep a database of emails. It forwards the lookup to Stripe and returns the result. As with any web service, requests pass through Cloudflare’s infrastructure and may appear briefly in standard operational logs.

If you never enter an email, no personal data leaves your browser through this extension.

Payments

Upgrading to Pro opens a Stripe Payment Link on stripe.com in a new tab. Stripe collects your email and payment details to process the subscription. We never see or store your card details. Stripe privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

Fonts

The extension’s own pages (the toolbar popup and the welcome page) load the Poppins font from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when those pages load. The panel injected into HubSpot does not load any external resources.

Cookies

The extension sets zero cookies. Any cookies you see on app.hubspot.com or app-eu1.hubspot.com belong to HubSpot, not to this extension.

Children

This extension is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your GDPR rights

The developer is based in the Netherlands, so GDPR applies. You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data tied to you. We do not store personal data ourselves; the only data linked to you sits with Stripe. You can exercise your rights directly with Stripe, or contact us and we will help.

Data deletion

  1. Uninstall the extension from Chrome. This clears your local settings, including the stored email.
  2. Cancel your Pro subscription using the link in your Stripe receipt, or email us and we will cancel it and delete your Stripe customer record on request.

Refund policy

30 days, no questions asked, on Pro. Email us at the address below. Refunds are processed in Stripe, and Pro access switches off automatically within about a minute of the refund.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top is updated. If a change is material, we will surface a notice on the extension’s welcome page.
